About Us…
The Mother’s Pride® NECKBAND was created out of necessity by Sandy Peart.
Vaughn and Sandy's son, Tyson, an Eagle Scout before age 13, being active
in the Scout program, was awarded rank pins in quick succession, he then
presented his mom with matching Mother’s Miniature Pins (Parent’s Pins).
Sandy saw the need for an attractive accessory to hold her Mother’s
Miniature Pins: something that would make it easy on any Scout to pin
their parent or guardian, and something that would keep the pins together
on an attractive, permanent keepsake for now and future generations.
Sandy was so proud of Tyson’s rank advancement through the Boy
Scout program, the name for the neckband came easily "Mother’s Pride®".
It was a natural fit! She received a Trade Mark for the name, Design
Patent for the neckband, and started scp ENTERPRISES, Inc. in 1987.
Our neckbands: all materials, workmanship are proudly made in America.
Once again, out of necessity, Sandy created the Any PinsTM NECKBAND
to show-case her collectible pins. She can "look back" and enjoy the many
memorable events she's attended in past years!
scp ENTERPRISES, Inc. is a 3-generation Peart family effort headed by
Sandy and her husband Vaughn. They have been helped at alternate times
by Wendy, Corie Lee, Zachary, Tyson, Melissa, Tristan and "Sunshine."
