Mother's Pride® NECKBAND for Parent's Pins

About Us...

The Mother's Pride® NECKBAND was created out of necessity by Sandy, a proud Scout mother. She and her husband Vaughn's son, Tyson, became an Eagle Scout before age 13. Being active in the Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs, Tyson was awarded rank pins in quick succession, he in turn presenting his mom with matching Mother's Miniature Pins (name changed to Parent's Pins).

She saw the need for an attractive accessory to hold her Mother's Miniature Pins: something that would make it easy for any Scout to pin their parent or guardian, and something that would keep the pins together on an attractive, permanent keepsake for now and for future generations.

Sandy was so proud of Tyson's rank advancement through the Cub and Boy Scout programs; the name she thought up for the neckband came easily...Mother's Pride® …it was a natural fit! The neckband colors are gold on blue on the right side for Cub Scout Pins and olive on red on the left side for Boy Scout Pins. scp ENTERPRISES, Inc. was founded in 1987 to market the neckbands.

After multiple requests from interested customers, in 2003 Sandy decided to market a neckband for Parent's Pins for parents/guardians of boys who only participated in the Boy Scout program. These are called Parent's Pride®. The neckband colors are olive on red on both sides of the neckband.

scp ENTERPRISES, Inc. is a 3-generation family effort headed by Sandy and her husband Vaughn. They have been helped at alternate times by children; Wendy and Tyson, and grandchildren: Corie Lee, Zachary and Tristan.
